Attendees will:
1. Discuss the role of the geriatric health professionals in emphasizing the importance of
evidenced based and effective behavioral management instructions to caregivers in the
community/clinic setting when treating DRBD.
2. Describe the application of the DICE approach and the ABC’s of behavior management
during a patient visit.
3. Identify realistic expectations of pharmacological interventions to treat DRBD and to
provide needed education to caregivers.
