RNs, LPNs, Social Workers and Certified Case Managers – will receive 1 continuing education credit.
Our home office is sponsoring this virtual event and our presenter, Heather McKay, PhD/OT/L, has professional and clinical experience in supporting older adults and their fall risk.
By the end of this educational program, participants will better understand the prevalence of falls among older adults with neurocognitive disorders, determinants of falls and fall-related injuries, as well as multi-component interventions to reduce the risks for this population.
This presentation will provide practical solutions that can make a positive impact on this patient population.
Heather McKay is an engaging and well-sought after speaker and collaborator. Please view the attached event flyer here: DW CEU Event Flyer – CP_CFC_AYS_Falls.pdf
The event takes place Wednesday, September 22 from 1:30p – 2:30p Pacific Time via Zoom.
