Independent Living, Inc. is an established provider of senior housing. Our main office is located in Tukwila, WA, and supports 19 locations, including The Heights of Columbia Knoll in Portland, OR. We provide independent living apartments for low to middle-income senior residents who want to live in a community that they can be proud to call home. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the operations of our community. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and engaging environment for residents while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the property. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Duties:

– Supervise the Management Team to ensure all aspects of the community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, are attended to

-Oversee property tours and assist prospective residents with the application process

– Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a seamless transition for residents

– Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner

– Promote ┬ácommunity rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment

– Oversee property maintenance, including scheduling repairs and inspections

– Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, and work orders

– Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery

– Assist with budgeting and financial management of the property

Experience:

– Previous experience in property management or related field is required

– Strong data entry skills with attention to detail

– Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

– Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to property management

– Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills
