Senior Service Network Clark County Happy Hour (SSN-Clark Happy Hour) is an open meeting for those serving seniors in Clark County. These Happy Hour meetings are coordinated by Retirement Connection, and there is no cost to attend.  They are held on the 1st Thursday of each month from 3:30-5:00 pm. These meetings rotate locations around Clark County. Please join us for libations and conversations, and invite those you feel may be interested. For more info email: Amy Schmidt.

Next Meeting:

The SSN-Clark Happy Hour meeting on July 1st is CANCELLED.

Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak we are suspending all network meetings run by Retirement Connection staff. We want all of our colleagues and providers to focus their time, energy and planning into caring for our seniors and also caring for themselves. Currently the CDC recommends canceling events with 50 or more people for the next eight weeks throughout US. We are making the decision to cancel all meetings through June but will stay in touch via email about future meetings.

A few ways we can help:
1) Many seniors are still needing additional care and housing, and our fellow providers need our help. If you are working with a housing community or nursing facility, please encourage them to claim their listing, update their current availability on www.careavailability.com, (it is FREE to report all availability). This helps families and hospital staff view who is accepting new residents at this time. Many housing communities have photos, virtual tours, and other tools for families to learn about their services without a physical tour. Please make use of these tools.

2) Although almost all events are cancelled at this point, we want to help keep you updated. Please use https://retirementconnection.com/calendar to update your event status. This is a free resource for you to post any Cancelled events- we will post your event and show it as cancelled or rescheduled date to help keep our community informed.

We hope to connect with you in person next month, and will keep you updated on future meetings.
Our staff is working remotely, but remain available by phone and email for you.
