Care Availability

Retirement Connection Guide has launched a new website – CareAvailability.com designed to find care from anywhere on any device. All providers are able to report real-time availability at no charge. Families and providers can create a list of care & housing options, filter the list to specific needs, then share that list with a family via text or email. This is a free service, with no charge for searches. Information is not sold, kept or shared. The CareAvailability.com website can be accessed from any computer, tablet or smart phone. Families can contact the provider when they are ready.

All housing, homecare, hospice providers are listed, and each can easily claim their listing and report their availability at no charge. The providers that update their availability most recently, show at the top of the search results- so report often. For the companies that wish to include more marketing information, photos, and web links, an annual paid subscription can be added.

We have plans to grow this new site into more communities across the United States, as long as we are able to form local partnerships with providers and remain involved in the communities we serve. We remain a community resource, but with a strong web presence.

All Retirement Connection Guide Sponsors will receive a 100% Credit of their Print Ad Value toward CareAvailability Annual Subscription.

Retirement Connection Print Guide

Retirement Connection Guide remains the most comprehensive local resource for those 50 & better, with hundreds of topics, comparison grids, educational articles, and caregiver checklists. We currently publish guides in 4 local markets: Portland/Vancouver, Puget Sound, Mid-Willamette Valley, and Southern Oregon. We do not have plans to open print resources in additional markets. We continue to serve these 4 communities and are always adding new content. The guides are updated annually to remain the most comprehensive local resource available. Added features of the guide include the housing and homecare comparison grids, which compare specific details about each company’s services, amenities and pricing. This valuable tool is used not only by seniors and their families to “comparison shop”, but also by case managers and other professionals.
