Complaining

“Complaining about a problem without proposing a solution is called whining.”
~ Teddy Roosevelt

It is frustrating to watch a game when the players on the field aren’t communicating. Coaches can provide a framework and training, but ultimately, it’s the individual players who must move the ball down the field. The same principle applies to our work. As managers and leaders, we’re often asked to step in, but real progress comes when each person takes ownership. Bringing forward not just the problem, but also possible solutions- this is what elevates you from being a spectator to being a true player on the team.
